The History

Hi! Lauren (the owner) here to talk about the creation of Resilient Roots. Back in 2019, I decided to experiment with my food choices. I was inspired by a book I was reading, to try a week long plant-based food diet. This book was speaking about how food effects your mood. It was saying that many animals are in a state of negativity when they die, and therefore, when we consume that food, we consume that negativity.

I thought about it a bit, and decided it would be a fun experiment. I  put together a meal plan for the week and made the most healthy plant-based meals that I could, full of fruits and veggies. From a carnivore to a herbivore, overnight.

I not only felt the positive effects of eating natural plant-based foods, I also found the creation of these meals super fun. I felt mentally clearer, more energized, more joyful, happier and healthier. I fell in love with eating food that was not only delicious, but was also beneficial to my body and mind. I never ate animal products again.

I noticed a lack of food options on the market that are equal parts healthy, delicious and convenient. Without real world options available, maintaining this diet was quickly proven to be complicated.

That’s when I decided to create Resilient Roots.

Our Mission

To provide people with the opportunity to know how it feels to be fueled by healthy, delicious and convenient plant-based food. We also aim to support the planet and it’s wildlife by selling food that does not interfere with nature, and by donating 5% of our net profits to the preservation and restoration of the Amazon Rainforest.

Our Vision

To be the world’s favorite quick service plant-based restaurant. This includes delicious food, more convenience, and an innovative restaurant aesthetic.
